Maintenance Associate Basic - Brownsville Send to Printer Location Brownsville Role Maintenance Status Full-Time Schedule 5pm to 5am - Rotating 2-week schedule Compensation Based on Experience Your Role Plans, install, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in industrial establishments by performing the following duties: Responsibilities • Lay out, assemble and install processing equipment • Trouble shoot, maintain and repair processing equipment to keep equipment running efficiently • Analyze source of problem and diagnose breakdowns and/or malfunctions • Dismantle equipment for repair or replacement • Clean and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts • Confer with plant, quality and outside vendors • Records, writes and documents SOP, PM work orders, etc. • Operate special maintenance equipment and tools Qualifications • General maintenance certification; minimum of one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to work with mathematical concepts. • Experience with Data Stream 7i maintenance software is preferred. • Must maintain a certificate in a maintenance field.
