Maintenance Project Coordinator Send to Printer Location Brownsville Role Maintenance Status Full-Time Schedule Monday through Friday - 12:00pm to 9:00pm Compensation Based on Experience Your Role Lead team to develop and implement preventative maintenance methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve reliability and product quality. Lead team meetings and works one-on-one with team members to build skills. Oversees all maintenance of the production facility to ensure the highest quality standards and compliance with all Federal and State regulations. Designs and direct Associates in fabrication, equipment, and determines methods, procedures and conditions. Responsibilities Coordinate Associate training, evaluation of work and staffing requirements for all functions within span of control. Develops projects as assigned from inception through completion involving the following major areas: design, purchasing, contracting, implementation, cost control, schedule control and follow up. Consults with engineering personnel in conjuction with the Plant and Maintenance Manager relative to modifications of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products. Responsible for contracting and purchasing items necessary for implementation of assigned projects. Maintain and improve the preventative maintenance program, adjust frequencies, modify PMs and add PMs as needed to reduce break down and emergency maintenance work. Qualifications Two year degree from technical school or equivalent education and experience. Maintenance Journeyman certification. Specialized training in OSHA compliance, ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and compressed air systems desired. Minimum of 8 years related experience and/or training. © 2007 Grande Cheese Company.
